weather the mad king is visible or not is beside the point.
Just because someone thinks that there's no need to see the mad king does not gives the right to the person who is purposely blocking the mad king.
And these golems were not afk, because they did not "die" from not doing the thing the mad king asked. It is therefore possible to conclude that they are there purposely to block the view of other players just because they can, please don't tell me they want to stand close to see the mad king, cos no one can see it if the golem is standing that close, blocking the mad king. And no it is not your job to be his guard. don't flatter yourself.

Easy...If you are a first time participant and have never seen the King, how do you know he exists? It's like missing Santa Claus at the mall because some kid thought it would be funny to piss on his lap...so there you are with your screaming kid who wants to see him and throws a nasty fit, later comes to the conclusion that Santa isn't real and is a rage pisses on the Christmas tree. The trauma of the shock to his little dinkus by the lights (plugged in at the time) and the four hours in the Emergency Room, not to mention the Male Nurse rubbing salve on the burns, causes him to become a hater of all holiday icons. Henceforth, he becomes a serial arsonist around the holidays...first marking on potential victims by pissing on them. Last Easter, the Bunny got it bad...Seeing his scarred mandhood caused the high school volunteer to accidentally step in an Easter Basket and trip. While lying there on the floor in a state of semi-concious horror, the entire headpeice to the comstume was soaked in urin. Later, after the mall closed, their bicycle was found in the parking lot horribly charred. When will the madness end!!!
OR
People treating other people without compasion for the sole purpose of causing them greif, in this case by blocking the icon they have waited to appear for hours, is cruel. If you can't see that, your loss.
"If you want others to be happy, treat them with compassion, if you want to be happy, treat others with compassion" The Dalai Lama

But it would be wrong to conclude that. The GOLEMS were standing on the Mad King so they could visually make sure they were doing the emotes right.

Why is it so hard for some of you to understand that people WANTED to see the Mad King and couldn't because of the actions of some jerks. This wasn't in a few isolated districts and people that were there to enjoy the Mad King events shouldn't have to put up with this behavior or district hop to find some place free of them. Just because you didn't care if you saw him and thought it was "lulz" doesn't make the behavior acceptable. Bottom line is that the people that were purposefully using the golems to block others from viewing the Mad King, sometimes running off when asked nicely and later to go right back to the same spot and taunt the other players, were griefing the districts. And griefing is a bannable offense. Will it actually be done? That's out of our hands.

Actually, that would means the golems are at even greater fault since they know standing close would make sure they were doing the emotes right, then what about the rest of the players, don't they also need to make sure they see the mad king so they could do the emotes right too?
BTW, I do want and need to look at my CD players, and my TV sets etc it is why I've bought a beautifully design one compare to those cheap ugly ones
and players do want to look at whats happening in the game because after all, Guild wars is famous for its beautify scenery and nicely design character.

Other players were standing around the Mad King and so they couldn't see... So they drank some juice, and got a step up on everyone else, so they could see.

There is however, no valid parameter that makes this behaviour to be regarded upon as 'unacceptable'. Try again.

There's nothing to see while listening to a CD, there is at a concert, so it applies far better. If I'm at a rock concert, I'd like to be able to see the band playing, even it isn't mandatory to enjoy it. Just as I'd like to be able to see the Mad King. He's cool, and has a lot of neat animations. And again, I enjoy taking screenshots of these festivals, it was almost completely impossible this year because of the tonics.
If you think listening to a CD is a better analogy in this case, then I can only assume you have one of these tonics lodged in your brain.

Standing at a point and enjoying the festival while using a tonic is one thing, and most people were curtious enough to move slightly when urged. The problem is when multiple people gathered for the sole purpose of annoying other players.

When one of you carebears comes out with a decent argument as to why there should even be a discussion here, they maybe.
Until then, we'll just keep sitting back and laughing at your poor attempts to prove us wrong.

This.
The fact that people are complaining about it, is a joke. There's nothing to complain about. The event was EXACTLY the same as the last 3 times, so I don't see why there was QQing.

The real argument is that if you think that this is an actual problem you should calm the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO down and realize this is a game. The exact same thing happens every year and has happened since 2005. If you REALLY needed to see him, then you could have just gone to an empty district. The entire argument against the golems is simply carebearism, and if you're going to do that go to GWO.
